12/19/2023 0 Comments Dv40j3000ew a2 heating element![]() I pulled and pried and the clips broke and in the process cracked the front control housing. By watching another video I found the only way to remove the panel was to pry & pull and expect the clips to break. In the video there doesn't appear to be any clips holding the lower edge of the panel in place, there were 2 plastic clips and 4 plastic tabs. ![]() The bigger issue was with removing the front control panel. These were harder to disconnect with my fat thumbs. The one difference was the connections to the front side of the dryer were on the power distribution circuit board located on the left of the dryer under a sheet metal cover. Only had 2 differences in my dryer from the one used in the video, so the video was helpful. I am amazed at how simple many appliance repairs end up being once diagnosed and how much companies actually charge to fix.Īppliance: Samsung Dryer DV337AEG/XAA-0000 My Repair & Adviceįrom watching the video I got the general idea, disassemble 50% of the dryer. Should be handy with tools and testing equipment and not be afraid. Saved a ton of money in the process and learned a lot. Dryer is simple compared to the complexity of washer but I was able to make Major repairs on both by just watching the videos on this site. Note: Do test all sensors on heating element housing to rule out a sensor failure while you have apart as per their Together was a breeze since it was all fresh in my head from day before. (very simple, three screws in a support bracket) and found it was broke in one spot.(wire -Įlement severed). I cleaned out most lint and pulled apart lint trap on front andĬleaned out as much accumulated lint as possible. In process found alot of lint had escaped into inner dryer and had a thick coating Took dryer apart to get to heating element and sensors. Appliance: Model DV350AEP-XAA My Repair & Advice ![]()
