Yes my friend. ![]() pretty self contained actually.Īlright then, I think. maybe those classes are relying on something crazy. that was just one folder maybe 4 defined classes. My first thought was ok they're had to be some crazy dependency action going on with all the bchain interior code and such. ![]() what in the almighty 6lb 8oz sweet baby lord heavens is this!? Anyways much to my surprise after installation of dependencies the folder structure ballooned to nearly 2.2GB and nearly 1.75M files. I recently forked an exchange front end in the DEFI space (a good example of their simplicity would be something like Uniswap from the UX side). that's "Atomic Deep Chained Dependencies" and yes I made that up. I cannot stand the hell that front end development has become. I tend to always fall back to VanillaJS and. I've tried to get into Angular, React, and Vue on multiple occasions. ![]() Would really like some insight on this :). Should we stick to SQL Server Express and pay the price later on? From what I have seen, it is not a native integration like SQL Server, and instead relies on third party add-ons. I am willing to learn PostgreSQL, but will this database affect ORM, and Entity Framework Core functionality? We don't want to lose those. Simply because it is free and my partner knows it. What if we want to have Tailwind CSS and customize it as much as possible, will we run into issues? It seems like ASP.NET generates HTML code when it loads pages, so will using such front-end frameworks and customizing them break this logic? Since we also will be needing some heavy front-end work as well, what is going to handle it? Looks to me like in this book (and most tutorials) a component library is used and that's it. We are finding it really useful, but only on the back-end side of things. Right now both of us are learning how to use ASP.NET with this book: Pro ASP.NET Core 3 Develop Cloud-Ready Web Applications Using MVC, Blazor, and Razor Pages - Eighth Edition - Adam Freeman If I want to build something that I want to dedicate 2-3 years of support, if not more, is this a good choice?ĥ)If I want to have a mobile App later on, can a Blazor app be ported over to. But Blazor WASM seems to have drawbacks regarding SEO, initial load, lack of resources/packages. If that is the case, how can it be used together with React, when React uses JSX for the same thing?Ģ) If we want to go the React & Redux + Typescript route, and simply use ASP.NET Web APIs, do we lose a lot of dev time? We want to keep things C# as much as possible.ģ)If we want to have a PWA, it means that Blazor Server is out of the question. I have a few questions regarding how things work, so that at least I can know what to learn.ġ) Razor pages is only when you embed C# code on an HTML page, so that you can show dynamically changing data, right? It means that it isn't a React or Blazor alternative, but can be used alongside them. I will be honest and say that the more we research on the whole Blazor/ Razor Pages stack, the more confused we become. We have to decide if we will have to learn React and Typescript, or go Blazor only.We want to have some sort of Component Framework (either Material, or Tailwind Premium Components. We did not like using node.js or Express, and are not planning to. We absolutely want to use ASP.NET for back-end related tasks. We want to have some way to reach the desktop too. It can be a web page, and a PWA/Electron app.My partner in this project has the same set of skills as me (knows front end and express, not much real world experience though), just coming from a C++ background. While I know Front End and Back End (express), I wish to use ASP.NET for back end stuff, and learn it at the same time a lot better. I have created an API token and am using Postman to issue a GET request to I'm using my email address as the username in Basic Auth, and using the API token as the password. Postman is correctly generating a base64 encoded Authorization header with the value 'Basic '.įurthermore I have looked at the 'Last accessed' time for the API token ( ) to verify that it updates to 'a few seconds ago'Īnyone know what's going on? I never seen any response other than the 401.I am new to the world of Web technologies, being a Unity C# developer for quite some time. '401 - Unauthorized' error while loading this page. I'm hitting this problem too, while trying to use the Cloud REST API: ![]()
